This is the production page inside the Apeiro Automotive project. Dealer work uses a lean, repeatable kit; brand, OEM and campaign work can scale into cinema bodies, larger lighting systems, specialty movement and a larger crew.

Apeiro is structured around creative direction first. MD defines the story, references, framing, pacing and visual standard; trusted associates, camera operators, gaffers, drivers, stylists, editors and other specialists can be brought into the production depending on what the vehicle and location require.

The objective is not to carry every tool on every shoot. It is to deploy the right production footprint — lightweight for inventory, more controlled for premium vehicles, and fully crewed when motion, complex lighting or campaign-level craft justifies it.

LIGHTING SYSTEMS

Shape the car. Don’t flatten it.

Automotive lighting is largely about reflection control. Broad soft sources can create long, deliberate highlights across bodywork; negative fill and flags restore shape; smaller sources reveal trim, wheels and interior details.

ROLLING SHOT SYSTEM

Motion should feel controlled, not improvised.

Rolling work is a different production discipline from a static lot shoot. The vehicle, camera platform, route, communications and safety plan all need to be designed together.

VEHICLE-MOUNTED CAMERA REFERENCE

MOVMAX Razor Arm + DJI RS-series gimbal

For controlled automotive motion work, the Razor Arm is a compact air-shock-absorption car-mount platform designed around DJI Ronin gimbals. Current product references list a camera payload up to 6.6 kg / 14.5 lb, 0–140 PSI shock adjustment, a star vibration isolator and four suction-cup mounting points. MOVMAX’s current support note says RS4 adaptation is incomplete, so the exact base-plate and anti-drop configuration should be verified before rigging.

Rigging note: vehicle-mounted camera systems are used only where the surface, rig, payload, route and speed are appropriate. Complex chase work should be supervised by experienced automotive grip/rigging personnel and carried out in controlled conditions.

The shoot creates ingredients. Post turns them into a system.

Every vehicle can generate multiple outputs, but the workflow needs one source of truth so versions remain visually consistent. DaVinci Resolve Studio is the preferred finishing reference for edit, color, audio and delivery; Adobe tools can be used where a client pipeline or still-image workflow requires them.

COLOR STANDARD

Paint stays believable.

White balance, neutral paint reproduction, highlight roll-off and controlled saturation come before stylization. Hero work can receive a look, but inventory content should remain honest and repeatable.

DELIVERY STANDARD

One master, many outputs.

Master timeline → 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 versions; safe-area checks; captions; web-optimized H.264/H.265; ProRes master where required; still grabs and archive package.

STILLS

Exposure and color consistency, selective reflection cleanup, lens/perspective correction, plate removal where legally appropriate, and web/export sharpening without changing the vehicle’s actual specification.
